We
decided to raise the team cap from 8 to 16 because
it was too hard to pick which 8 teams we wanted to
the tournament, there were so many good/interesting
teams that we had double the amount of teams. Seedings
for the second tournament are done based on teams
ranks (6.2.ranks) since armory has been broken for
a while now. Also Vilus blog about the tournament

Congratulations
Avada Kedavra for winning the first tournament without losing
a single best of five series. With the victory they also secured
#1 seed for the second tournament, the rest of the selected
teams will be seeded according to their 5on5 rating. Just
want to remind the teams that have already signed up that
you have till 6. February 24:00(Server time) to change your
roster or specs, after that everything will be locked. |

For the second tournament we have
revamped most of the rules and now teams can only play with
one setup so there will be no counter comping! The second
tournament will be also 8 teams, 5on5, best of five, double
elimination. We chose to have only 8 teams because with 16
teams there might be some problems with the skirmish system,
maybe we will try with 16 teams later. For this tournament
signups will be open for everyone and the admins will choose
8 teams who they think are most deserving to have a spot in
the tournament. The signups open 24.1.2008 and end 6.2.2008.
You can signup by contacting one of the admins at irc (#cyclone.tour
at irc.quakenet.org), when you signup we need your teams name&armory,
Players(classes)[spec XX/XX/XX] Brackets will be generated
7.2.2008 and then you will know if your team made the cut. |

The first tournament will be 5on5,
invite only tournament for 8 teams and theres 3 days to play
the best of five series against each opponent. If the first
tournament goes without any bigger problems there will be
more of these coming. Probably some kind of one day 5on5 marathon
tournament with signups up for everyone. If you have any questions
